First Grade

Mission: To challenge each and every child at their level of development. 

First Grade teachers at Bellevue Elementary value camaraderie, teamwork, and innovation.  Our highest priority is the development of the whole child.  We nurture student progress by focusing on academic, emotional, and social success.  First Grade curriculum engages students in Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.  In addition, we offer special enrichment courses in Music, Art, Physical Education, and Technology classes at Bellevue Elementary.  Students attend these "special classes" weekly along with instructive Library skills.  

We believe parent involvement in school is key to the success of our students and welcome parent volunteers to participate in our classrooms and assist on our field trips.
