School Social Worker

I have been honored to be the School Social Worker for Bellevue Elementary School since the year 2000. I am a Masters of Social Work graduate from Rutgers School of Social work, 1988, and attended the Masters of Family Studies, Marriage and Family Therapy program from University of Maryland, 1985. I am a past president of the School Social Workers of Idaho, Chairperson for Region V Children's Mental Health and a Board member for the Wood River Lion's Club. I am a Mindful Awareness practitioner trained in School based mindful awareness, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindful self compassion. I am passionate about professional development and am inspired by best practice and research on neuroscience and the brain and social emotional learning.
